Plain Fax Terms of Service

Effective October 6, 2026. Plain Fax is operated by Grateful Dev AI LLC. By using the app you agree to these terms.

The service

Plain Fax sends outbound faxes only, to US phone numbers only. Each fax is up to 10 pages. There is no inbound fax, no international fax, and no account.

Price and payment

Each fax costs $1.99, paid through an Apple in-app purchase. Apple processes the payment.

Failed faxes

We try to send each fax up to 3 times. If delivery still fails, you get one free resend. We do not guarantee that a fax will be delivered, since delivery depends on the receiving machine and the phone network.

Refunds

We do not issue refunds. Refund requests go to Apple, which handles them under its own rules.

Acceptable use

• No advertising and no unsolicited faxes. US law (the TCPA and the Junk Fax Prevention Act) restricts them. You confirm in the app that your fax is not an unsolicited advertisement.
• No bulk or automated use.
• No unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent content.

We may block phone numbers or devices that break these rules. Report abuse, including unwanted faxes you received from Plain Fax, to [email protected].

Not HIPAA compliant

Plain Fax is not HIPAA compliant. Do not fax protected health information.

Your content

You are responsible for what you send and for entering the correct number. We use your document only to transmit the fax and delete it within 24 hours. See the Privacy Policy.

No warranty and limit of liability

Plain Fax is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Grateful Dev AI LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the fax at issue.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
